I Believe Every Space

Has a Story to Tell

Redo the Done exists because so many people have collected heirlooms, memories, and favorite pieces, but have no clear way to bring them all together. The result is often a home that feels unfinished, despite being full of meaning.

I approach design as an act of editing. Instead of starting from scratch, I look at what’s worth keeping and what needs to be rethought. By integrating old and new with intention, I help homes come into focus in a way that feels lived-in and cohesive.

What Guides My Interior Design Work

Redo the Done is grounded in a few clear principles that shape every decision I make.

1

Story Over Style

Every home already has a narrative. My role is to understand what’s there, honor it, and help it unfold with intention, never forcing a look that doesn’t belong

2

Warmth Over Perfection

I design spaces meant to be lived in, not tiptoed around. Texture, comfort, and a sense of ease matter more than rooms that feel finished but untouchable.

3

Curation to Prevent Overwhelm

Too many options stall good decisions. I curate with care and edit decisively so the process feels clear, grounded, and never exhausting.

4

Longevity Over Trends

Nothing here is disposable. The goal is a home that settles in over time - one that supports real life and grows more meaningful with use.

Meet the Interior Designer + Founder

Lisa Milne

My path into interior design has been intuitive rather than traditional. I’ve always been drawn to how spaces feel; how light moves through a room, how furniture invites conversation, how a home holds memory. Before founding Redo the Done, I spent years creating environments where people felt welcomed, connected, and at ease; those instincts now guide how I approach design.

I’m hands-on by nature and drawn to what already exists. I love refurbishing furniture, working with pieces that carry history, and finding creative solutions within constraints. Inherited items, awkward layouts, and budgets aren’t obstacles; they’re the framework that makes a home more original and more personal.

Redo the Done is for clients ready for a home that reflects how they actually live. A home that honors their story and feels unmistakably theirs. Together, we’ll create a home you can truly melt into.
