The Magic

Behind the Redesign

A story-driven

interior design process you can trust.

Good design begins with understanding why choices are made.

When the reasoning is clear, the story of a space comes into focus.

If you value clarity, thoughtful planning, and an interior designer who carries the work from concept to completion,

Redo the Done is for you.

Our Interior Design Process

Every project is approached with intention and care. This process is designed to prevent overwhelm and guide your home from the first conversation to the finished space.

  • The first step is EASY! Fill out this form to get on my calendar.

  • A focused, no-pressure conversation where we talk through your space, priorities, and how you want your home to feel. You’ll receive a custom proposal outlining the recommended service, timeline, and investment.

  • Sign my contract, pay your invoice, and deliver your onboarding materials. At this point, the project officially begins, woo!

  • Before anything is purchased/painted/touched, we define the design story: inspiration, creative direction, and the guiding vision. Layouts, palettes, furniture selections, and furniture flip concepts are created and refined.

  • Yes, I will do this step for you! Furniture, materials, and custom or refurbished pieces are sourced, ordered, tracked, and managed. Project coordination is handled for you.

  • Delivery, placement, and final styling bring the space fully to life. This is where the home begins to feel settled, layered, intentional, and complete.

  • We review the finished space together (ta-da!) and officially wrap up your project. The work ends when the home feels just right.

Hi, I’m Lisa Milne,

Your Personal Home Redesigner

I founded Redo the Done to create homes that feel settled in their story. My work is rooted in intention and guided by how spaces are actually lived in. I design for warmth over perfection, meaning over surface-level style, and homes that grow more comfortable and personal over time. The result is a space that feels cohesive, lived-in, and deeply yours.

This is an Invitation into Your Home’s Story

It’s time to create a space that you can sink into!
